Traditional Multiplication

You choose how you want to multiply large numbers

Your parents were probably only taught one method for multiplication and, if they didn't understand it, there was nothing else they could try. Well, you get to pick and choose from whichever method works best for you:
9. Traditional
10. Lattice, or
11. Grid/Box

Watch all of these carefully, it's a decision that you'll rely on for a long time to multiply large numbers. Re-watch a few times until you're confident you're happy with the strategy you've chosen, then practice, practice, practice.

Traditional method

The way your parents were taught and probably the way your other teachers have introduced multiplication to you:

No equal sign. No renaming showing above the multiplied digits (the only renaming shown is during the adding process).
